How can I create a form in Chatterbug Forms and use it on my Wordpress site?
First, you will need to create the form in ChatterbugForms.com. Make all your design changes, add all your field settings and formattings. Save the form and Publish it. Only published forms can be imported into the wordpress plugin. Once the form is imported successfully, select the form and go to settings to select background images, colors, CSS, Title, Banner, availability, Notifications, Confirmations, Mailchimp settings, Google reCAPTCHA … and many more settings. The form import will import all field and form settings from Chatterbugforms.com. You will have the option to override the form settings(not the field settings) in the plugin after the form is imported into your Wordpress site.
What do form “Published” and form “Enabled” mean and what is the difference?
On ChatterbugForms.com you can form the form “Published” or “Draft”. In the Chatterbug Forms Wordpress plugin, the form can be “Enabled” or Disabled. You can have the form on ChatterbugForms.com set to “Draft” that means you are still working on it and its not ready to be imported into Wordpress sites and not ready to accept submissions on ChatterbugForms.com. When the form is ready to be used you set it to “Published”. Once the form is imported into Wordpress this setting does not affect its acceptance to submissions and you can set it to “Draft” to prevent future imports/refreshes but “Draft” in ChatterbugFroms.com will not disable it in the plugin. The settings “Enabled” is in the Chatterbug Forms Wordpress plugin only and it means this form is not available for submissions and it will not display on the pages where the short code is used but instead the plugin will display the form un-available message/page. The setting Enabled/Disabled is only in the plugin and does not affect the form in ChatterbugForms.com
Are there limits on how many forms I can use or how many submissions I can have?
No. There are no limits on how many forms you can have active in your Wordpress plugin and submissions are unlimited and free. However, Chatterbug Forms Standard tier is a free service but since our resources are limited to what we can offer without charging our users, we have a limit of 5 forms in ChatterbugForms.com. That has no effect on how many forms you can have in your plugin. For example, you can design 5 forms in ChatterbugForms.com and share them in as many sites as you want then delete them from ChatterbugForms.com without affecting your plugin. Then design another 5 forms in ChatterbugForms.com and share them in your sites. Now your sites have 10 forms that are free and unlimited submission. You can have as many as you want active and functional forms in your plugin.
Can I use Google Analytics with Chatterbug Form?

After that you can track all events by referencing the form id and field ids. Chatterbug Forms have unique ids globally. In the next release you will be able to load the forms directly on ChatterbugForms.com, in addition to Wordpress. At that time you will be able to add Google Tag id and GTM id to your form and it will automatically integrate the GA and GTM tracking script.

3- In your .css file add the class cbforms (.cbforms) as a parent to your class.

You can do your own processing and save the data anywhere you want and return true. What is the difference between Form Title, Form Description. Header field and Paragraph field?
Header and Paragraph fields are just fields that you can add to your form as many as you desire. For example, you can add a Header field to every section of your form. The form Title and Description are form settings, not fields. You can only add one Title and one Description to your form that will show on the top of your form. On a multi page form, the Title and Description will show on the top of every page of that form but the Header and Paragraph fields will only show where you place them within the form.
How do I use “Field % Width”?
Field % Width sets the field width in relation to its container within the row. If the field is the only field on the row then the width will be a percentage of the row width. If the row has two fields, for example, then the field container is 50% of the row and the Field % Width will be a percentage of that 50% of the row width. In that case setting Field % Width = 40 will actually set the field width to 20% of the row width (40% of the 50% of the row). This is useful in making the form responsive to screen size changes.
How do I use “Field Width in Pixels”?
Field Width in pixels sets the field width in exact pixels regardless of the screen size or other field sizes on the same row. Use this setting when you need a certain field to stay the same size all the time and be responsive to screen size changes. For example, a zip code field.
How do I use "Field Minimum Width in Pixels”?
Field Minimum Width in pixels sets the field minimum width exact pixels. This will make the field responsive to screen size changes but to a limit. Use this setting when you need your field to not shrink beyond a certain size no matter how small the container is.
